Australis Rockstar Lipstick in Teen Pop

I post a lot about eye products on my blog which i find is kind of weird considering lip products are my absolute favourite and i own so many of them. Today i am going to review a lipstick a have recently purchased and i'm sure you can guess what it is from the title of this post. Enter the Australis lipstick in Teen Pop.

Packaging:
This lipstick has the same typical packaging as most of Australis lipsticks in the standard Colour Inject range. It is a glossy black casing with a pink metallic band around the middle. Personally i absolutely love the packaging i think it makes the lipstick look nice and sophisticated and very girly. I also love that even though this is a special edition release it has the same packaging.

Formulation:
The formulation of the Australis lipsticks are amazing and i have yet to find one i don't like. They are super creamy and easy to apply however they still don't feather outside your natural lip line. Once you put them on they stay where you put them, there will be transfer if you eat, drink or kiss someone but that's not a big deal for me as i reapply my lip colours regularly anyway. The pigmentation is amazing and they transfer onto your lips exactly how they look in the tube you don't have to swipe a million times to get the colour you desire. There is a slight fruity scent to the lipstick however i don't find this noticeable once it is on your lips and it doesn't deter me from the product but if you are sensitive to smells maybe check them out in store before you make a purchase.

Colour Range:
Teen Pop is a really and i mean really bright blue toned pink. It is similar to a highlighter pink at least thats that it makes me think of but if you like that kind of colour it looks amazing on the lips. There are 20 shades available in their online range however i am not sure if all of these colours are available in store and i know that three of these colours are part of the rockstar collection including Teen Pop.

Price and Availability:
This lipstick and ,any of the others in the range are available from any drugstore which sells Australis including Target, Kmart and Priceline and other chemists. You can also purchase them from the online store www.australiscosmetics.com.au  this is a good option if you are australian student as they offer 25% off. They retail for $12.95 but you can often purchase them on special through different stores.

If you have tried the Australis Lipsticks let me know what shade is your favourite.

My Favourite GO TO Eyeshadow Palette.

As you can probably tell if you are a regular reader of my blog... i know probably not many of you are but you know a girl can dream. Well anyway a little off topic, my point is that it has had a slight over haul which my youtube channel has also had so if you havent seen any of my videos i would love if you would go check that out. I am going to start blogging regularly again by uploading posts every saturday and then videos every monday and thursday.

Anyway enough of my ranting, onto my favourite go to palette. That would be this lovley little compact palette by Rimmel. This as you can tell is a very well used item in my makeup collection as i like to wear makeup on an every day basis however it is not very often i venture away from the simple netural eye for every day wear.

These eyeshadows have a lovely formulation to work with they are nice and creamy to apply to the eye and have a moderate colour payoff. While in no way compare to Urban Decay they are better than some other shadows i have tried. I use these colours by applying the lightest colour in the palette which is comparable to MAC's Shroom in colour on the inner tearduct area of my eyes and also on my brow bone as a highlight. The light brown which has a hint of pink undertones i like to place all over my lid and as you can tell this is the most used colour. The warm mid tone brown i use as a crease colour to help darken my eye look. Sometimes i leave it at this stage however if i want to use the darkest purple toned brown i use this in the very outer corner of my eye to create a more glamorous nighttime look.

I believe the packaging has changed since I brought mine however the quality of the product is still the same and I will definately be repurchasing it. I hope you enjoyed this review. Come back next Saturday for another blog post and in the mean time don't forget to check out my YouTube channel.

All About You

This post as you can see by the title is all about looking after yourself and doing things that make YOU happy. It has taken me a while to realize that I was not happy. I work very hard for the things I wish to achieve and possess and I have finally realized that these achievements should be things I want in life not what someone else weather it's a boyfriend, family member or just friend. It is important that you as a person are happy and then everything will fall into place.

I had a few things happen and realized that for the past year I have been doing everything in my life to please someone else. That someone was important to me but still... It's my life and with it I should be doing things that I love. This includes my YouTube videos which I started because of my passion for art and makeup.

It also helped me realize who I want to be as a person and what is important to me. Like family and friends.

Now I'm not going to tell you who this person is or what they were to me. The message of this post is to make sure that your life is about you. Because ultimately your the one who has to live it. And if your not happy maybe it's time to work out why.

I hope you didn't find this post to ramble and feel free to let me know what makes you happy in the comments :)
